7.4.9. Installation and adjustment of a leading gear wheel

The scheme of removal of gaugings for definition of a thickness of an adjusting ring of a leading gear wheel

1 – оправка А.70184;

Gear wheels of the main transfer

1 – a conducted gear wheel;

2 – a serial number;

3 – the amendment to the 100-th shares of millimetre to nominal position;

4 – a leading gear wheel

Installation of an internal ring of the back bearing on a leading gear wheel

1 – an internal ring of a back roller bearing;

2 – оправка А.70152;

3 – an adjusting ring;

4 – a leading gear wheel


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Correct position of a leading gear wheel, concerning conducted, is provided with selection of a thickness of the adjusting ring established between a persistent end face of a leading gear wheel and an internal ring of the back bearing.
2. Select an adjusting ring with the help оправки А.70184 and adaptations A.95690 with the indicator. Operations spend in a following order.
3. Having fixed картер a reducer at the stand, запрессуйте in nests картера external rings of forward and back bearings of a leading gear wheel, using for this purpose оправками: for the forward bearing – А.70185, and for back – А.70171 (1 – оправка А.70171).
4. On оправке А.70184, simulating a leading gear wheel, establish with the help оправки А.70152 an internal ring of the back bearing and insert оправку into a mouth картера a reducer (1 – the indicator; 2 – adaptation A.95690; 3 – the back bearing of a leading gear wheel; 4 – оправка А.70184).
5. Establish an internal ring of the forward bearing, a flange of a leading gear wheel and, turning оправку for correct installation of rollers of bearings, tighten a nut the moment 7,84–9,8 Нм (0,8–1 кгсм).
6. Fix adaptation A.95690 at an end face оправки 4 and adjust the indicator having divisions of 0,01 mm, on zero position, having established its leg on the same end face оправки А.70184. Then move the indicator 1 so that its leg has risen on a landing surface of the bearing of a box of differential.
7. Turning on the left and to the right оправку 4 with the indicator, establish it in such position in which the arrow of the indicator marks the minimum value а1 (see fig. the Scheme of removal of gaugings for definition of a thickness of an adjusting ring of a leading gear wheel) and write down it.
8. Repeat this operation on a landing surface of the second bearing and define value а2.
9. Define a thickness S an adjusting ring of a leading gear wheel which is an algebraic difference of sizes "and" and b: S = a - b, where and – average arithmetic distance from an end face оправки 1 (fig. the Scheme of removal of gaugings for definition of a thickness of an adjusting ring of a leading gear wheel) to necks of bearings of differential and = (а1 а2 see) / 2, b – a deviation of a leading gear wheel from the nominal position translated in mm. The deviation size is marked on a leading gear wheel (fig. of the Gear wheel of the main transfer see) in the 100-th shares of millimetre with a plus or a minus.

10. At definition of a thickness of an adjusting ring consider a size sign b and its unit of measure.

Example:

Let's admit that the size "and", established by means of the indicator, is equal 2,91 mm (the size "and" is always positive), and on a leading gear wheel after a serial number the deviation -14 is put. To receive size b in millimetres, it is necessary to increase the specified size by 0,01 mm:
b =-14 x 0,01 mm = - 0,14 mm.
Define a thickness of an adjusting ring for a leading gear wheel in millimetres:
S = a - b = 2,91 mm - (- 0,14 mm) = 2,91 mm of 0,14 mm = 3,05 mm.
In this case, put an adjusting ring in the thickness of 3,05 mm.

11. Put on a leading gear wheel an adjusting ring of the necessary thickness and напрессуйте оправкой А.70152 (fig. Installation of an internal ring of the back bearing on a leading gear wheel see) the internal ring of the back bearing which has been removed with оправки А.70184. Put on распорную the plug.
The prevention

At repair of a reducer of the back bridge it is necessary to establish new распорную the plug if have been replaced картер a reducer, a gear wheel of the main transfer or bearings of a leading gear wheel. If the specified details remained former распорную the plug can be used still.


12. Insert a leading gear wheel in картер a reducer and establish on it an internal ring of the forward bearing, маслоотражатель, an epiploon, a flange of a leading gear wheel and a washer.
The prevention

Not to damage an epiploon at запрессовке, it is necessary it запрессовать not against the stop, and on depth of 2 mm (a maximum deviation -0,3) between an end face картера a reducer and an external surface of an epiploon.


13. Screw on the end of a leading gear wheel a nut and, having stopped a flange of a leading gear wheel, tighten it (about the tightening moment see more low)
