The form of facets of saddles of valves is shown on fig. the Profile of a saddle of the inlet valve and fig. the Profile of a saddle of the final valve.

On working facets of saddles (a zone of contact to valves) there should not be dot bowls, corrosion and damages. Small damages can be eliminated grinding of saddles. Thus remove as less as possible metal. It is possible to grind as manually, and by means of the grinding machine.

Grinding

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a head on support А.60353, insert into directing plug of the valve core А.94059 and clear facets of saddles of a deposit vertical drills А.94031 and А.94092 for saddles of final valves and vertical drills А.94003 and А.94101 for saddles of inlet valves. A vertical drill are put on spindle А.94058 and are aligned by directing core А.94059.

The prevention

Cores А.94059 exist two various diameters: А.94059/1 – for directing plugs of inlet valves and А.94059/2 for directing plugs of final valves.


2. Put on directing core А.94059 spring А.94069/5, establish on spindle А.94069 conic circle А.94078 for saddles of final valves or circle А.94100 for saddles of inlet valves, fix a spindle in the grinding machine and прошлифуйте a valve saddle.
3. At the moment of contact of a circle with a saddle the machine should be switched off, differently there will be a vibration and a facet will be wrong.
4. It is recommended to a thicket to make editing of a circle by diamond.
5. For saddles of final valves width of a working facet finish to the sizes specified in fig. the Profile of a saddle of the final valve, vertical drill А.94031 (a corner 20 °) and vertical drill А.94092 by which it is eliminated наклеп on internal diameter. Vertical drills are put on spindle А.94058 and, also as well as at grinding, are aligned by core А.94059.
6. At saddles of inlet valves width of a working facet finish to the sizes specified in fig. the Profile of a saddle of the inlet valve, at first having processed an internal facet vertical drill А.94003 before reception of the size in diameter of 33 mm, and then a facet 20 ° vertical drill А.94101 before reception of a working facet in width of 1,9-2,0 mm.
