3.10. A cranked shaft and a flywheel

The cranked shaft – five-basic, is cast from pig-iron. Surfaces of necks of a shaft are tempered by currents of high frequency on depth of 2-3 mm. In the back end of a cranked shaft the nest under the forward bearing of a leading shaft of a transmission on which external diameter the flywheel is aligned is executed.
Шатунные and radical necks of a cranked shaft incorporate channels on which oil for greasing шатунных bearings is brought. Technological exits of channels are closed колпачковыми заглушками, which запрессованы and for reliability зачеканены in three points.
For prolongation of service life of a cranked shaft possibility of repolishing of necks of a cranked shaft is provided at deterioration or damage of their surfaces. Grinding diameters of necks decrease for 0,25, 0,5, 0,75 and 1,00 mm.

The flywheel is cast from pig-iron and supplied by a steel gear wreath for start-up of the engine by a starter. The flywheel is established on a cranked shaft so that the label (cone-shaped лунка about a gear wreath) was against шатунной necks of 4th cylinder. The label serves for definition ВМТ in the first and fourth cylinders.
