7.1.8. Check of the main cylinder of a drive of coupling at the stand

CHECK ON TIGHTNESS OF THE BACK SEALING RING

The scheme of check of a condition of a back sealing ring on tightness

1 – the main cylinder;
2 – a vessel;
3 – an adapter with a sealant;
4 – a manometre;
5 – a tee;
6 – the adjusting screw;
And – air from the compressor;
In – air release

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the main cylinder on the stand, having provided thus good consolidation between a flange of the cylinder and привалочной a stand plane. Attach to the cylinder a vessel 2 with a liquid for a hydrodrive. Open the crane of compressed air at the turned on adjusting screw 6, then slowly close the adjusting screw to an air outlet from a vessel 2.
2. Check up on a manometre pressure of air which should be within 0,05–0,08 МПа (0,5–0,8 kgs/sm2). At smaller pressure replace a back sealing ring.

CHECK ON TIGHTNESS OF THE FORWARD SEALING RING

The scheme of check of a condition of a forward sealing ring on tightness

1 – the screw for prorolling;
2 – the crane;
3 – a manometre with the price of division 0,2 МПа (2 kgs/sm2);
4 – a manometre with the price of division 0,005 МПа (0,05 kgs/sm2);
5 – a vessel;
6 – a pusher;
7 – the main cylinder

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the main cylinder on the stand and connect it to a vessel filled with a liquid for a hydrodrive, and with manometres.
2. Close the crane of a manometre 3 and, moving a pusher of the main cylinder, provide stable pressure 0,2 МПа (2 kgs/sm2).
3. At the fixed pusher and absence подтекания liquids pressure should remain to constants within 2 minutes
4. Close the crane of a manometre 4 and open the crane of a manometre 3. Moving a pusher, establish on a manometre stable pressure 10 МПа (100 kgs/sm2).
5. At the fixed pusher and absence подтекания liquids the specified pressure should remain constant not less than 2 minutes Otherwise, a forward sealing ring replace.
