At car operation sometimes, depending on quality of filled fuel, there is a necessity to correct a corner of an advancing of ignition. The ignition moment is corrected by the oktan-proof-reader 3 distributors of the ignition, allowing to reduce or increase a corner of an advancing of ignition. Signs «» (advancing) and «–» (delay), put on a scale of the oktan-proof-reader, specify a direction of its rotation.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Updating of a corner of an advancing of ignition spend on the heated-up engine. Before updating note position of average risks of the oktan-proof-reader on the block of cylinders. |
| 2. At movement on equal road on direct transfer with a speed of 50 km/h sharply press an accelerator pedal. If thus there is an insignificant and short-term detonation the corner of an advancing of ignition is established correctly. |
| 3. At a strong detonation (early ignition) ослабьте a nut 1 also turn the case 2 on 0,5–1 division clockwise (on «–»). In case of absence of a detonation (later ignition) turn the case 2 on 0,5–1 division counter-clockwise (on «»). |
| 4. After updating tighten a nut 1 and check up again correctness of the moment of ignition at movement. |
