10.4.4. Check of tightness of the main cylinder

The scheme of check of tightness of the main cylinder

1 – the valve for prorolling;
2 – a manometre;
3 – the absorbing cylinder;
4 – the main cylinder;

5 – a flywheel;
6 – the index of displacement of a pusher;
7 – the crane;
8 – a vessel

1. Establish the main cylinder on the stand and connect it to stand elements, as is shown in drawing.
2. Open valves 1 for prorolling of the stand and, moving some times pistons of the main cylinder for full length of their course, pump over system.
3. Then close valves 1.
4. Rotating a flywheel 5, slowly move pistons of the main cylinder until the pressure supervised by manometres 2, will not reach 12,5 МПа (125 kgs/sm2). In this position block a pusher of the main cylinder. The specified pressure should remain to constants not less than 5 with.
5. In cases of leak of a liquid or not preservation of constant pressure during 5 with replace уплотнители cylinder pistons.
