10.3.3. Check and repair

At hard moving of pedals examine working surfaces of pedals, plugs and an axis.

If superficial risks or oxidation traces on surfaces of metal parts are found out, wipe their grinding fine-grained skin; nonmetallic parts replace new at each dismantling.

Check up elasticity of springs. The length of a spring of a pedal of a brake should be: under effort 13±2 Н (1,3±0,2 кгс) – 80 mm, under effort 120±6 Н (12±0,6 кгс) – 160 mm.

The ottjazhnaja spring of a pedal of coupling has length:
 – Under effort 33 +4   Н (3,3 +0,4 кгс) – 130 mm
–2 –0,2
 – Under effort 46 +4,5   Н (4,6 +0,45 кгс) – 155 mm
–2,5 –0,25

The length of a spring of the servo-driver of coupling under effort 200±20 Н (20,4±2 кгс) should be 120 mm, under effort 599±60 Н (59,9±6 кгс) – 152 mm.
