5.2. A backlash between breaker contacts in the ignition distributorCheck and adjustment
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To check a backlash between breaker contacts it is necessary in a following order. |
| 2. Put the gear change lever in neutral position and brake the car a lay brake. |
| 3. Uncover the distributor of ignition and, rotating a cranked shaft, establish a breaker cam in such position at which breaker contacts will be as much as possible opened. |
| 4. Check up щупом backlash size; if it falls outside the limits 0,35–0,45 mm, that, having weakened screws 33 (fig. the Distributor of ignition 30.3706-01 see), would insert a screw-driver edge into a groove and turn a breaker rack on the necessary size. After adjustment tighten screws 33 against the stop. |
