5.1. Installation of the moment of ignitionArrangement of labels for ignition installation

For check of the moment of ignition is available three labels 2, 3 and 4 on a mechanism cover газораспределения and a label 1 on a pulley of the cranked shaft, corresponding to century of m. т. The piston in the first and fourth cylinder at coincidence to a label 4 on a cover.
Initial corners of an advancing of ignition for various engines and applied gasolines are specified in subsection 14.4.
Check
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To check up and establish the ignition moment it is possible by means of a stroboscope, operating in a following order. |
| 2. Connect a clip "plus" of a stroboscope to the plug "plus" of the storage battery, a weight clip – with the plug "minus" of the storage battery, and a clip of the gauge of a stroboscope attach to a wire of a high voltage of 1st cylinder. |
| 3. Designate a chalk for the best visibility a label 1 (fig. the Arrangement of labels for ignition installation see) on a pulley of a cranked shaft. Start the engine and warm up it that it worked on the minimum turns of idling. |
| 4. Direct a blinking stream of light of a stroboscope on a pulley and check up, whether there corresponds position of a label of 1 pulley to subsection 14.4 data. |

If there is a diagnostic stand with an oscilloscope with its help too it is possible to check up easily installation of the moment of ignition, operating as is described in the instruction on the stand.
Adjustment
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. For adjustment of the moment of ignition stop the engine, ослабьте a nut of fastening of the distributor of ignition and turn it on a necessary corner. |
| 2. For increase in a corner of an advancing of ignition the distributor case should be turned counter-clockwise, and for reduction – clockwise. |
| 3. Then again check up installation of the moment of ignition. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. The distributor of ignition removed from the engine establish into place in a following order. |
| 2. Uncover the ignition distributor, check up and, if necessary, adjust a backlash between breaker contacts. |
| 3. Turn a cranked shaft prior to the beginning of a compression step in the first cylinder, and then, continuing to turn a cranked shaft, combine a label 1 with a label 3. |
| 4. Turn a rotor in such position at which its external contact will be directed towards contact of the first cylinder on a distributor cover. |
| 5. Keeping a shaft of the distributor from проворачивания, insert it into a nest on the block of cylinders so that the axial line passing through spring latches, it was approximately parallel to an axial line of the engine. |
| 6. Fix the distributor on the block of cylinders, establish a cover, attach wires, check up and adjust installation of the moment of ignition. |
