The backlash between loose leaves of a rod and cranked shaft can be checked calculation, having measured details.

The nominal settlement backlash makes 0,036–0,086 mm. If it less limiting (0,1 mm) it is possible to use these loose leaves again.

At a backlash большем limiting replace on these necks loose leaves new. If necks of a cranked shaft are worn out and ground till the repair size loose leaves replace repair (the increased thickness).
